Our Amazing Sponsors:

KLARA BOSTELMAN (Amanda) made her acting debut in Stuttgart, Germany, in “Two Adults and a Child” (Theatre Rampe). A creator at heart, Klara enjoys making “poof-balls” and other crafts. She is a fifth grader at Jordahl Elementary School and wants to be a chicken farmer when she grows up. Thanks to Ant Hampton and Theatre Rampe for the opportunity to start acting, my mom for supporting me, and my friends for accepting my total weirdness.

CRESTON COOPER (Older Derek) is a UCCS alumni. A native of Atascadero, California, he enjoys theatre and scenic design. Local theater credits include “HAIR” (UCCS), “Ugly Lies the Bone” (UCCS), Snowy Tales (Theatreworks) and “Tempest Free-for-All” (Theatreworks).

DAVID CORDER (Grandpa) has worked with almost every theatre company in town and is thrilled to add Theatre Across Borders to the list. You may have seen him recently as Ms. Trunchbull in “Matilda” (Colorado Ballet Society) or Neville Craven in “The Secret Garden” (First Company). Watch for him this Christmas as the narrator, William Jackson Palmer, in “A Colorado Nutcracker” (Colorado Ballet Society) at the Pikes Peak Center.

ELLIS EVANS (Derek) is thrilled to join Ghost Fish. The role combines two of his favorite pastimes, being outdoors and sword fighting! Favorite roles include Peter in “Buttons for George Washington” and Mr. Baldwin in “Mysteries at the Mansion.” Ellis studies piano and trumpet at the Colorado Springs Conservatory. He is a year-round swimmer and avid trail runner. Ellis would like to thank his family, especially his grandma, for their unwavering love and support.

CASSIDY FORREST (Jackie Fathoms) has been doing theatre since she can remember. She grew up in Pueblo and attended The Arts Academy, where her favorite role was Mrs. Manningham in “Angel Street.” Cassidy can next be seen as Wednesday Addams in “The Addams Family” (Sunrise Players). When not onstage, she is a Director of Youth Development for the Boys and Girls Club. Cassidy also directs plays for Kids Club 360 at James Irwin Charter Elementary School.

TEAGAN HODUR (Amanda) is a 6th grader in District 11. A former Visual and Performing Arts student, Teagan played Santa in “Christmas vs. Halloween” and Charlotte in “Proper Pirates: A Penzance Musical.” In addition to acting, Teagan loves to sketch and go camping with her family. She wishes to thank Mrs. O’Rear for giving her this opportunity and her family for always supporting her dreams.

WESLY KINNETT (Derek) has acted in Dragon Theatre Productions for 7 years, most recently as a clown and magician in “Patching the Circus.” This past summer, he helped with theatre camps at the Millibo Art Theatre. Wesly plays a pirate at Renaissance Festivals, but he usually lets his pet bird do the talking for him. He is excited to be in this outdoor adventure and had fun learning some new swordplay!

CYNDI PARR (Ella Kazaam) has performed on Colorado stages for over 20 years. An actor, director, puppeteer, playwright and magician, Cyndi played Hogweed in “Magic of the Marsh.” She is the director and co-founder of Dragon Theatre, a community-inclusive theatre that welcomes everyone who can make the rehearsal commitment. Cyndi has emceed multiple Rocky Mountain Puppet Slams with her puppet Rose Gold. She is delighted to share this adventure with her nephew, Wesly!

RICHARD SEBASTIAN-COLEMAN (Shadow Puppeteer) is an actor, playwright and musician. His short play, “There’s Room on Top,” played festivals in New York and Montreal. His other scripts have featured locally at Craft Production Resource, Springs Ensemble and Funky Little Theatre. Richard has an extensive acting career, stepping in whenever a tall, gangly character is required. This is his first time doing shadow puppetry. Many thanks to Katy for the training!

ILANA SHERWOOD (Crackers) is a senior at Pikes Peak Early College. Favorite roles include Megan in “Ben and the Magic Paintbrush” (Fine Arts Center), understudy for “The Wolves” (Fine Arts Center) and Thyrsis in “Aria de Capo” (Pikes Peak State College). She looks forward to seeing you on the trail!

She was an aerialist for a traveling circus in England and a scenic painter for Broadway-bound shows. Julie recently performed in the Women’s Theatre Festival (Millibo Art Theatre) with her marionette, Puella. She loves bringing stories to life through puppetry, music, dance, and/or high-flying apparatus. Walk tall and shine bright!

CELESTE TICE (Mermaid) is a recent UCCS theatre graduate. She wishes to pursue a lifetime career of performing and touching hearts. Local projects include makeup artist for “The Drag” (UCCS), dancer in “Collective Trust” (UCCS) and makeup artist/scare actor at Scorched Earth Haunted Farm.
